Help answer this question below.

My step son is about to turn 7 and I'm wanting to re-do the playroom in a cool jungle theme w/ an indoor playhouse.. But what age are children when they lose interest in playhouses/ toys/ cool themes and such?

    Using my younger cousin as a reference, it seemed like it was around 10 or 11 that he started to not only get pretty big, but became self-conscious about being a "big kid." I think a lot of it was just the act of hitting the double digits in addition to kids at school his age making the same realizations and the pressure to appear cool and older.
