There is no "arguing" about Christmas being a Christian holiday. It is. You can believe in God and still enjoy Hallowe'en. Don't think it's quite the same thing. We know Jesus wasn't born on Dec. 25 but it is the symbolic day to celebrate. Yes, Jesus was a Jew; Christianity came from Judasim.
