Would Muslims flip out if, in a tv show, someone was talking to the prophet Muhammad on the phone and we heard a voice being depicted as Muhammad's?

    There would be some who would flip out, but that is true of every religion. Take the Mormon response to an Ozzy Osborne concert, or the banning of Monty Python's The Life Of Brian as examples. There are fundamentalist views in any religion and it is a truism that these are usually the loudest voices.

    • Exactly. Extremism is a possibility in any belief system. That's why its important to treat them all with a certain caution.

    • That is not correct: Islam is not inherently more extremist than other major religions.
