Help answer this question below.

Would you be offended if you saw someone wearing a T-Shirt that said: "Jesus Was Wrong"?

    hooligan

    no. i do not believe that jesus was the son of god, merely a good philosopher with some good ideas about how he thought the world and society should be and would be successful. to me, it would be like saying descartes or buddha were wrong. in fact, the things jesus said and did have prompted such an intense following that many atrocities over the years have been committed on his behalf and i tend to think it is a good thing to question such forms of blindly-followed authority.

    • not rude at all! some people keep the cultural aspects of a religion while still maintaining a disbelief in god. some of these people may keep some aspects of that religion (such as heaven and hell) even though they don't believe in god. this is a rare set of beliefs to have, but i've heard of it.

    • WHich is kinda self defeating almost because the idea of an eternal punishment and eternal paradise I believe came from the idea of and existing eternal god of some sort. So if yoiu still believe in heaven or hell and yet not a god.... I don't know maybe it is all just a pointless argument that leads to nothing but quarrels, I will just leave it at that

    • The things Jesus said and did are inconsistent with the actions and declarations of those who claim to follow Him. Jesus was kind and compassionate to people. He had nothing negative to say to anyone other than to the Religious Leaders of that time. If someone were to imitate what Jesus said and treat people the way Jesus treated people, that person would be kind-hearted, forgiving, nurturing, and peaceful.
