    Surely, you are kidding!

    Fried chicken is fried.

Roasted chicken is cooked in an oven.

    • I'm talking about the type of chicken. In a grocery store, some chickens are labeled as frying chickens while others are labeled as roasting chickens, but they look the same.

    • I disagree. Oregon's question was clear and should not have been misunderstood. The question was not "What is the difference between roasting a chicken and frying a chicken?" The question was "What is the difference between a frying chicken and a roasting chicken?"
