Everyone is different. We don't all follow the same familiar patterns when dating.

Take me, for example. I also have a history of short-term relationships. This is due to nothing more than being unlucky and meeting the wrong people. I've never been unfaithful or restless in a relationship, and in one case was willing to go for the long-term relationship. It just didn't work out. Each relationship ended amicably, however, and I'm still on good terms with the majority of these people.

So your guy may just be unlucky like me. Of course he could have commitment issues as well. Like I said, everyone is different. So by all means be careful, but remember that there are always other explanations for people's behaviour. Don't always think the worst.
