    Christie is a Republican, so those who are Democrats who dislike Republicans and have nothing meaningful to criticize would say yes, he's over-reacting and show-boating.

    If Christie were a Democrat, Republicans who dislike Democrats and have nothing meaningful to criticize would say yes, he's over-reacting and show-boating.
