If someone steals my credit card and uses it, am I responsible for the charges?

    Generally, no. Most credit card companies are very forgiving when this happens and will reverse all the charges once you report the theft to them.

    That said, if you start making a habit of this, they may be more reluctant. Credit card companies put a lot of effort into spotting fraud, so don't think you can get away with it. ; )
