I don't understand what you mean there. Deisel petroleum is much more expensive than unleaded. I'd switch it to natural gas.

One gallon of diesel contains approximately 147,000 BTUs of energy, while a gallon of gasoline only has 125,000 BTUs
Diesel fuel contains 17.6 % more energy
But the price of diesel is only about 14.5 % higher.
