    Wiseacre

    Asker's Pick

Selected by the asker, Henderson. (What's this?)

I would not pay more than $7000, with the engine rebuilt, and all new suspension pieces and breaks. Otherwise I would pay nothing over $3000. Gas prices would kill you too. Since it is deisel, I would have it all switched over to natural gas fuel instead of regular petroleum.

    • I don't understand what you mean there. Deisel petroleum is much more expensive than unleaded. I'd switch it to natural gas.

    • Wiseacre is indeed looney again,
      "much more expensive than unleaded."

One gallon of diesel contains approximately 147,000 BTUs of energy, while a gallon of gasoline only has 125,000 BTUs
Diesel fuel contains 17.6 % more energy
But the price of diesel is only about 14.5 % higher.
