I understand the desire for people to find some kind of utopia on the Internet; a picture-perfect escape from real life. I don't think it's realistic.

Connecting computers worldwide will never be a panacea. It makes it easy for the golden to interact with each other, but there will always be slag nearby.

Realize that the more drama and attention that their behaviour generates, the more rewarded they are for it. Better to take a few days off, than to start a thread asking "Should I leave?" or "Don't you hate all this trolling?"

It has the opposite effect you intend.
