I am a recovering addict (clean 10 years). Back in the day, I was the biggest turd in everyone's eyes. Why do they always come to me for help when they have problems now?

    I believe you should take it as a compliment. Being a recovering addict, you could give some good advice to those who really want help. Congrats for the 10 years!!!!

    • I know but they look at me like I'm a moron when I ask them for advice. HELLO!!! I'm only 32. All my brothers and my sister are WAY OLDER than me. Thanx for the congrats. I am very proud of myself. 10 years ago I never would have imagined myself where I am now. I OD'ed so many times and I really see that God had a good reason to keep me here.
