Is there any difference between the black and grey PS2 control pads?

    It depends what you mean by the grey control pad. If you mean the old PSX control pad, then it lacks the analog control joysticks. If you mean the silvery control pad, then there is no difference as I own one of each, and they are both the same. I am, of course, working on the assumption that the control pads in Australia are the same or at least similar to those in whichever country you are from.

    • The "Black" pad (DualShock2) has analog L/R 1/2 and "[ ]XO/\" buttons.
