    A few suggestions:

    Eruption - Eddie Van Halen
Mr. Crowley - Randy Rhoads (Ozzy Osbourne)
    Satch Boogie - Joe Satriani
Far Beyond The Sun - Yngwie Malmsteen

Actually, if you can play any/many of the solos of those four guys, you're an excellent guitarist in my book. Granted, this list is limited to rock, but I'm trying to keep it short.

    • Hey Todd, is there a video of you playing somewhere, like maybe youtube or something?

    • Not yet. I have a number of videos from different bands and music styles, but I've never had a capture card that could make a video.

    • just b/c you can play someones solo doesnt make you a great guitarist dude. you may have the technicality down but you need originality creativity and musical knowledge to truly be a great guitarist/innovator.

    • (1.) The question is about other people's solos (2.) If you'd rather listen to a mediocre original composition than an excellent copy, that's your choice.
