    Yes, the one true religion has never been formalized into a document or organization, and there is a reason why this is so -- it doesn't even have a name.

    Religions are attempts to unify: to unify humans with themselves, or with each other, or with nature and the universe as a whole. The word "religio" in Latin means "to bind together", as in making something whole from fragments.

    However, all known religions are partly right and partly wrong. The ultimate unifier is not God, but "true self" -- you. The quest for unification reaches a turning point when a human stops looking outside of themselves for the answer, and starts taking responsibility for themselves, their life, their experience, their values, and their meaning.

    Responsibility equals freedom. As long as you're a subject in God's kingdom, you're one more pawn on the chessboard in your own game. To come home and know who you are, you have to recognize yourself as the source of the game. When you do that, there's a satisfying "click" of realization which changes everything.

    Objectively, I am just one small organism in a vast universe. Subjectively, I *am* the universe. These views are really two sides of the same coin: the ultimate religion.

    There's no point in turning this into a formal religion and converting people: each individual has to discover it for themselves or it has no value whatsoever. This is what happens when someone wears out all of their notions of religious truth and just stands in front of the mirror long enough to recognize themselves.
