I have noticed that some small blackish dots have started to appear on my nose, they don't wash out. Should I do something about this?

It sounds like you have blackheads, they usually do appear on the nose, there are many inexpensive treatments for them on the market, the instructions for use will be included.You will be free of them very soon.
