Why do you get diahrrea when you are on your period?

    Because of prostaglandin. This is the chemical that is responsible for the contraction of the uterus during menstruation. Prostaglandin affects all of the organs in the lower abdomen including the intestines. A good remedy for this is calcium suppliments. For more info, go to
