    It's not true, but it's a rumour that's floated around for years.

    Irony is often humourous, but there's a certain undercurrent in society that seems to delight in kicking cherished childhood icons from atop their pillars. As if growing up and learning about the actual realities of adulthood wasn't disconcerting enough. :/
