World peace cannot be achieved, because someone will always want something his neighbor possesess (sp), and others will always be more powerful than others. World peace is a lost cause.

    • Perhaps, I miswrote the question: I was attempting to ask for a personal response from each reader of the question, one that would hold an individual responsible for advancing, at the very least, their own methods toward a more peace filled world .

In my view, 'each' of us can accommodate the very real possibility of peace (at least, within our own lives), with critical thinking, humane conduct and cooperative, intellectual empathy. To this very issue, I believe it is a personal responsibility to create peace not only within, but to also advance this conduct outward.

As we EACH role model these ideals as REGULAR standards, not at all special -- lest they become ego inflating 'cause we view our behaviors as soooo very cool in our own minds -- I believe we then advance the reality of sharing which of our individual practices we've personally experienced that further advance, at the very least, a more civilized world.
