More economically conservative and socially liberal... so I guess I'm in.

    • No camjam, you're one of the millions of (unacknowledged) members of the Selfish Bastard party...:-D...
      .
I say that mostly in jest, but I've found that people who describe themselves as "economically conservative/socially liberal" tend to actually want all the benefits of a liberal (broadly defined) activist government, but don't want to pay the taxes required for such a government.

    • Hahaha that was pretty funny, but I'm definitely no activist. I believe in government restraint in all areas, so that it's primary function is to protect life and property but leave personal decisions (and the consequences thereof) to a free people.

Tax reductions do come necessarily, however, from the government scaling back it's active participation in people's lives.
