What does the law say about people expressing partisan views in polling places? Is it okay to wear campaign buttons, or talk to voters to encourage them to vote a certain way?

    "The law" varies from state to state with regard to electioneering, which includes "all of the above"--thit is, "expressing partisan views," wearing campaign buttons, encouraging people "to vote in a certain way." As I understand it, it is a violation of federal law to engage in ANY form of electioneering within 100 feet of a polling place.
