Girls like her used to be unattainable to me. Or so I thought. In the years since, I'd dated women of her calibre, and married a gem.

My crush hadn't changed, so I must have. Not so much physically, but mentally.

Self confidence -- the proper kind that's free of ego and selfishness -- really does make you more attractive to the opposite sex.
