Help answer this question below.

about first time smoking. please read desc.

i tried pot yesterday for the first time.
i'm fairly certain i did not feel it's effects.
here's what i did feel tho:
my face and head felt kinda fuzzy and i was nauseous.
most likely because of the tobacco in the joint, which i'm not used to since i don't smoke.

basically my question is whether it's common for the first time to have no effect.
is the tobacco masking the marijuana effect ?
is smoking marijuana possible to enjoy without being a smoker (ie used to tobacco) ?
should i just bake it ?

    yes, it is very common to not get effects from smoking the first time. either you didn't hold your hits long enough or you got what is reffered to by some as the "trial taste test". For a lot of people, getting high almost seems to be something your body needs to figure out, when it first recieves marijuana, it doesn't seem to really know what to do with it, and thus, nothing happens.

    It is entirely possible to enjoy marijuana without tobacco, most prefer it. Tobacco doesn't mask the effect of pot, but it does alter it. Usually, tobacco and marijuana produces a marijuana like high, although there is a little less "whimsical" feeling and more alertness, also your vision is sharper, you will feel more energized, and if you turn out to be one of the few who gets hallucinations from marijuana, it will slightly intensify the hallucinations. Next time insist on no tobacco in the joint if there is a next time, it's not fair that your first time feeling the effects be tainted by other substances.

    • the reason it contained any is because my friend who rolled it for me said it wouldn't burn slow enough solo.
      it wasn't any natural green or brown.
      it was some sort of synthetic version, so that may be the reason.
      or maybe he just wanted save up on the stuff, since it was his XD
