If a Dane, a Norwegian, a Swede, and an Icelander met in a pub and each spoke only their own language, ...would they be able to understand each other?

    I have no idea, but under the influence of alcohol in Quebec, the linguistic division between my poor to moderate french and there poor English seemed to get a less and less with each shot...
