oh no. i love to hear that.i love when someone speaks with a southern accent. i have a few of my friends speaking that way and i am trying to imitate them.
Does the ability to think on your feet indicate intelligence,knowledge or glibness? Can you tell them apart assuming they all make sense?

You're reading Being from the Southern U.S., I an keenly aware of the "Southern Drawl." Do you automatically think someone is less intelligent when he/she speaks with a Southern Drawl?

I guess it really does depend on the person. 'Round these here parts...the more metropolitan people tend to frown upon their "less-refined" brethren.

i guess it won't be an issue if people tend to be around like minded people.others just need an excuse to show that they are superior than their brethren.
