You're reading Martial Artist must register their bare hands as deadly weapons with the police in some states in the US. What have you registered with the police or other agency?
Comments
I think it is different from State to State. When I enrolled in Wing Chung in Hawaii, I had to fill out a form to register with the police stating that I was learning Kung Fu. It would be used in court if I was in a fight that I was using a weapon since I was trained in hand to hand combat. I did not have to register with the police when I took Judo, even after getting my black belt.

From first hand experience. When we enrolled in Wing Chung, we were required to fill a form with the HPD that we were taking Kung-fu. If we got involved in a physical fight, we would be sited as having a weapon. Get you facts straight, don't assume you know all state laws.
