I co-signed for someone who never made an attempt to make a payment even though he is employed. Do I have a case against him in a small claims court?

    You could pursue him in small claims court, but if he doesn't have the money to pay on the contract, he probably doesn't have it to give to you.

    In needing a co-signer, it should have been clear that this person had bad credit or questionable financial responsibility. When you agreed to be a co-signer, you took on the same financial obligation as he did. That's why it's NEVER a good idea to be a co-signer, no matter how good the intention.
