Help answer this question below.

what wires do what on the tailights of a 2001 chevy truck, im trying to wire a 4 flat trailer plug, and cant figure it out. Thanks

    Green wire from trailer plug to green wire from right tail light for right turn
    Yellow wire from trailer plug to yellow wire from left tail light for left turn
    Brown wire from trailer plug to brown wire from tail light or license plate light for running lights.
    White wire from trailer plug to stud on truck frame (look behind drivers side rear tire for wire running from gas filler neck and follow it to frame )
    Note: if the truck was built with a trailer package there will be a bundle of wires attached to the frame close to the spare tire that has all these wires "blunt cut"for you to use.
