Do you think animals love to live, ...............but yet humans slaughter them to fill their palate?

    I'm not really opposed to killing per se, if one doesn't notice it and doesn't suffer, how would it be wrong? But it's a difficult subject.

    For all I know, one thing is certain: Suffering feels awful, and unnecessary suffering is bad. That's why I'm a vegan.

    • (And I'm not just talking about the direct suffering of the animals we raise and eventually eat. I'm also talking about the suffering of starving humans, humans that starve because their poor governments export soy or crops to rich nations, so it can be inefficiently fed to cruelly treated animals. Additionally, I'm talking of the future suffering that climate change will bring about, given that the animal industry is responsible for climate damage than all of global traffic. And last but not least, there's swine flu, bird flu, mad-cow disease, pfisteria, EHEC...)
