Are there any plants that have a similar effect to marijuana, but are not illegal (yet)?

    There is a plant called 'Salvia Divinorum' or otherwise known as Diviners Sage. It causes a short but extremely intense euphoric psychosis. It recently became illegal in Australia :( but I don't know about any other country, you'd have to check it up yourself. There's heaps of sights on the net flogging the seeds or the actual product itself. Read up on it good first so you know what exactly to do to make it an unreal experience. The weird thing is I think it has a healing action on the body somewhere!

    I think some Tribes in Mexico use it for it's mind altering effect in rituals.

    • Actually it's a hallucinogenic. In the same family as mint and sage. It is not a "party" drug.
