    Divide the number by 10 until it lies between 0 and 10 (ie with only 1 digit before the decimal point) then write that number multiplied by 10 to the power of however many divisions it took. For example, if we divide your number by ten ten times, we get 2.36. So the answer is 2.36 x 10^10. Hope this helps.
