Help answer this question below.

I've heard a frightening rumor that, in order to get more money out of the American people, the government will begin imposing a THUMB TAX on its citizens. Can they do this? What about a CARPET TAX? (I'll have to get wood paneled floors to avoid it!)

    there is no limit to the amount of things that the govt can think of to tax as long as the people allow them to. a thumb tax? what is that. a tax for using or possessing thumbs? as rediculous as it sounds, i believe something like this could happen. govts have done such things in the past. check out this site:

    the govt can tax anything we allow them to.
