Help answer this question below.

How do I apologize to my friend? I pranked his room while he was out and he's taking it the wrong way.

I didn't know it when I was rearranging the stuff in his room, but while he was out, he was having a fight with his girlfriend and they broke up. He came back to his place upset and angry, and didn't find the prank funny (but I think he normally has a better sense of humor). He thinks I was acting on behalf of his ex-gf for revenge or something. Now he's irrationally angry and I want to clear the air, but I don't know how.

    chances are let him cool down, maybe write a letter and leave it for him to read when hes ready. explain you were goofing around and had nothing to do with the ex gf and it was poor timing on your part. if he was that good of a friend before this im sure that after some emotions of his are able to realize what it is that he walked into it will be fine. i sure wouldnt be putting yourself around the ex gf much because if he does see this he will more then likely start jumping to conclusions and things will go from bad to worse. no more pranks until your both on the same page.
