Why do these "informercials" always use the worst ham actors?

    It's desperation and need meeting at the crossroads. Two entities finding the lowest common denominator.

    Would any decent actor need to do infomercials in order to pay the bills? :)

    While he's far from being a terrible actor, even Michael Caine freely admits to taking bad movie roles just to cover the expenses of adding rooms to his house.
