Help answer this question below.

Do you think I would be considered intimidating to guys?

I'm not trying to be stuck up or seem like I think I am all that by asking this question. I am not stuck up,and I definitely do not think I am all that. I honestly just curious because guy's never try to approach me and I'm just trying to figure out why is all. One last question If I am intimidating, how am I intimidating I don't understand how I would be, and how do I not be intimidating if I am?

    Well, first, how old are you? HS guys have a lot of special hangups.

    This is a tough Q, not knowing you; but perhaps if your friends saw you interacting with guys you'd like to ask you out, things might become clear. A very attractive friend of mine has had similar probs: she's really quite shy, but the way she reacts is interpreted as snobbishness, which is so not her.

    The classic ways to meet boys still work:"I need help."

    And having a friend of the opposite sex to ping pong them to you is a real plan. From your friend Alex saying "Hey Bobby, come over & help us with this thing" to more complex plans.

    And don't hit me for stating the obvious, but figure out something your target is interested in & ask him Qs. Never-especially in HS-let a guy down hard: it's better to lie! Because those guys will badmouth you.

    • OK, I've now read another Q or 2 of yours & it looks like shyness is at least indirectly the prob. You're an introvert & you're probably saying exactly the wrong things at critical points-so I suggest you work on this with a girlfriend. Being shy in & of itself is not such a prob as a lot of guys really like shy girls.

      A lot of older guys have probably been eyeballing you but up to this birthday you've been jailbait: so you're going to have to think about this. With your limited dating experience this could be a prob-do check out guys with the grapevine.

      Are you going to college? This could solve your problem! But again, the key thing is to somehow learn how to not turn guys off.

    • Actually I am not an introverted person to tell you the truth, I can say anything to anyone and not be shy about it, unless of course it is a guy I am interested in. The only time I am shy is around guys I am interested in. You see the thing is I am not really interested in guys who are a lot older then me. 4 years older then me at the most is good for me, however I would prefer someone who is my age or a year or 2 older then me.
