Help answer this question below.

What causes someone to be a child molester? Why would someone do that to a child?

    I believe it is because of lack of sex partners and social issues with peers. Interestingly, if a person stays chaste it causes mental problems with their sexuality (ie look at the situation with priests...). Some it would be just a thrill or fetish (a very unhealthy one if I may add).

    • I agree with Jenniferoscious. I think you may have it backwards. The lack of partners and social issues with peers are by-products, not causes.

    • I have heard of people who DID have sexual fantisies and stuff towerd kids and they never acted apon them. I think it is all about the choices we make.
