Will the cost of upgrading to Windows Vista is forcing more organizations to switch to Macs, Linux?

    Given the steep hardware requirements and upgrade costs, Vista is making a lot of companies examine other options. Linux is already working as a server in many companies with Windows desktops, so it's not as big as an adjustment as you might think, from an IT perspective.

    It's more likely that most businesses will simply stick with XP for the immediate future, and others who are still using Win2K will "upgrade" to XP.
