Why don't we all just have dentures ? brushing & flossing all the time is a pain. How would I brush & floss after lunch while I am at work?

People who wear dentures will tell you dentures are more trouble. Food particles like raspberry seeds get underneath and hurt like the dickens. People who talk professionally with them have to take extra measures so they don't speak with denture voice--sort of a hollow quality that sounds like someone speaking with a mouthful of saliva.

I work a long shift, so I bring one of those travel size toothbrushes that folds/compacts to a couple of inches for storage or pocket transport. I also stock up on sample size tubes of toothpaste that I can discretely carry. If you bring your lunch from home, you can pack your brush and toothpaste in the same bag. After your meal, discretely excuse yourself to the restroom and brush your teeth. If you can't brush, do the old "swish and swallow" with water.
