a met a guy online 4 months ago, he lives in another state and i'm flying down to meet him in less than a week. what can i expect?

Anxiety in getting to the airport on time, confusion on which check-in, gate etc, to use, over priced, poor quality food & drink, herded like sheep into a thin aluminium tube for a couple of boring hours, then a bewildering long walk in a strange terminal.
