Help answer this question below.

We have two a/c units. One for upstairs, one down. Wife wants to run just upstairs one to save $$. Will this work?

    probably not. you'd need to know the airflow and factor in obstacles and losses to see if you'd get adequate circulation.

    the best way to tell is to just try it. it's not like you're going to hurt anything, and you can always turn the other A/C back on to catch up.
