Help answer this question below.

A major reason for the involvement of WWII from the USA was the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese. Did Hitler give his consent on this or did Japan act out on his own? If not, did Hitler greatly resent it?

    I would have to say no, for them to have to ask permission would have been a joke. They did it on their own as they had to. They needed oil and America had stopped pretty much all trade getting to Japan. But by doing so they assured that America was fighting both in the pacific and Europe, rather a divided enemy so i also asume Hitler was happy with it... until d day that is
