Question

Help answer this question below.

I have a Maytag refrigerator w/ an ice dispenser in the door. The stopper in the ice chute doesn't seem to be opening to allow the ice to fall. The stopper appears to operate with a solenoid. Any ideas besides a service call?

Don't call the Maytag repair man as he has been bored for years & is now fat & lazy. You need a multi-meter to check to see if there is power &/or neutral wire conductivity to the solenoid. If so, change it.
