You're reading Have you ever used a groin kick in self defense? How well did it work?
Comments
Good answer. I agree. It's a dirty, easy-out tactic. Just like scratching. But females like to resort to this tactic, because they're generally weaker than men. Most men, however, are very protective of this area, so it sometimes backfires on a woman, and the man gets even more angry and violent. It's better for a woman to try other "dirty tactics". Most self-defense instructors recognize this now, that kicking the groin doesn't always work and can have the opposite effect if done incorrectly or you miss.

When I got hit there it made me angry so I kicked her back. She went down quickly and even when I walked away and looked back she was still on the ground. She was in extreme agony. I don't feel guilty though because she started it. Women are much more vulnerable in the groin and chest area that's why they daren't show it in movies.
