    inconsequential

Throughout childhood I planned to be an architect, and was even accepted into architecture upon graduation from grade 12. However, my parents were surprised by my acceptance and there wasn't money (or a loan) to send me. I worked for a mine for a year to send myself, but when I reapplied I was rejected. I became a social worker instead. Having a plan in life is essential, but your ability adapt to obstacles is what ultimately defines your success.
