Cats have unusual behaviors and tend to do things to people's surprise. If your hair is long then maybe when you turn your back it swings and stimulates the cat into playtime.
It could also be the scent of your hair or anything that hangs from your clothing. Would you attack someone from behind instead of the front? Maybe your cat thinks it can get away with attacking you during playtime if it catches you off guard. Just think of yourself as a big playtoy and try what your cat does to you to him/her. I hope this helps. Good luck.:)
