What was the longest time you have had constant hiccups, and how did you cure them?

    I've never had them too long because what I do for them stops them every time for me. I take a glass of water and cover the glass tightly with a paper towel, then drink the water through the paper towel having to suck pretty hard to drink the water. This method has never failed me in stopping my hiccups.
