    Erroneous information in your question:
    1. The ecumenical council held in 325 was Nicaea, not Nicosia.
    2. The council of Nicaea did not determine the canon of the Bible.
    3. The canon followed by the Coptic Church does not include the Gospel of Thomas, which was written in the Coptic language but is not accepted as canonical by any major Christian Church today.
