Help answer this question below.

When mailing an envelope, and the item must be postmarked by tomorrow the 15th, if its dropped in a mailbox tomorrow morning how will it be postmarked tomorrow the 15th or the next day the 16th?

    It all depends on when it hits the processing center. Your best bet is to go to the post-office(or a UPS store or Mailboxes, etc.) and mail it there, as it will be post marked right there in front of you.

    • +5 thx for q. You may want to send it Certfied Mail, that way they must acknowlege recipt of the item, and the time recieved.

    • Thanks for your answer its appreciated.. Reason being my mother claims they do not process mail on Sundays therefore it will not be post marked Sunday.. Its like a little debate between us..Thanks again..
