    Great Answer

    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

The Flag Code of the United States (Title 4 of U.S. Code, Chapter 1) describes the proper etiquette with regard the National Anthem, the American flag and the Pledge of Allegiance. These protocols, first adopted in 1924, have been revised multiple times. The last revision was on July 27, 2009.
