Here on earth, we're simultaneously in the material plane of existence and the spiritual plane of existence. In heaven (and hell) the same connection to the material plane no longer exists. (The senses of the mind are all still there, but they act through the spiritual body alone, and secondarily through a material body.) The material plane can't be visitied without a material body. And the senses of spiritual body are so superior to those of the material body, and burdens put on the thoughts of the mind by the material body are so great by comparison, that no one would want to anyway. What is possible, when it is permitted by God, which seems to be is fairly often, is the visitation of the spiritual world by those on earth. It's just a matter of closing off the material senses while leaving the spiritual senses open. This happens all the time, of course, in dream states, but happens just as easily in wakefulness. However, God doesn't permit it among thoush with whom it would compel belief in spiritual things, as this would harm them. Those who thus "visit" spirits typically know no different than that the spirits are actually visiting them in the natural world, speaking natural language, etc.
