Should parents force their kids to eat foods they don't like when they are young?

    Never. It won't make them ever like what they are forced to eat. They will most likely always hate it and the experience will reinforce negative feelings towards eating those certain foods. At age 45, there are still many foods I can hardly stand the sight of because of the childhood trauma of being made to eat foods I detested. Don't put your child through is, as it is cruel. No one ever died from not eating a vegetable. That's why they make supplements.
